EMAUZ is Mariana, an emergent Portuguese producer, based in Lisbon. The EP HOPS 303 opens with the track M-Theory, a gritty techno track with a nervous acid bass line and a ferocious pad, all driven by a raw drum programming reminding tracks by Amir Alexander or Chris Mitchel. 8 minutes of pure hard bliss (is that a paradox?).The second Track, 1968, has a long intro and is that kind of intro that you know on the dance floor what is about to come. A looser track than the first one, but with the same driven to the stars drum programming. To finish in beauty, Violet remixes 1968, with is watermark of the last days of Rave, elevating the track to a dance floor peak time track.
